This park does not allow ATVs. It is open to SxS, Jeeps, trucks and dirt bikes.
300 acres with a 100 or so trails for all skill levels. Most of the trails are in a forested area with natural obstacles including some water crossings. There are plenty of aggressive hills with rocks and bouldering for drivers who like a challenge.
There is a dug in riding area with some short steep hills surrounding it for climbing and a wet mud hole or two depending on weather. If you like mud, visit after a heavy rain and you’ll find plenty of it.
Park is open on event days or by appointment only. But, there are very few scheduled events, so if you would like to ride this park, you will most likely have to call and make an appointment. No appointments are needed for events.
This campground doesn’t have an ideal bathroom setup, there are only 2 bath rooms and 2 showers for all campers.
They do have big plans for this park which include new bathrooms, a club house, more hook ups, cabins and additional trails.

Open to ATVs and motorcycles. The Enduro Trail has vehicle restrictions including:
- ATVs must be no wider than 50 inches
- No tires with a lug depth over 1 inch
- Spark arrestors required
- Muffler must be 99db or less
Managed by the US Forest Service, these multi-use trails are open to ATVs, motorcycles and horses. Hiking and mountain biking are allowed on the Claiborne and Enduro Trails, but they are primarily used for motorized traffic and horseback riders.
The main trailhead and staging area is Loran Camp which is also where the campground is located. You can access the trails directly from the campgound. This campground is primitive and has no amenities except vault toilets. There is no water available, so plan accordingly.
Claiborne has 70 miles of forest trails made up of 3 separate loops:

- Boy Scout Loop, 31 miles
The Enduro Trail offers 45 miles of additional riding with it’s own primitive campground.

Located on 574 acres, this park is is fun for all. They have trails, a play pond and plenty of mud. This park is designed with mud lovers in mind, but fear not, if you’re not a fan of mud, they have trails for you too. And ways to navigate around the mud if you’re not tricked out for it.
All camping is primitive with no hookups, but they do have plans for hookups in the future. You must preregister for camping.
The park has shower facilities available that require a paid pass. The shower pass also gets you a fresh towel for every shower, so that’s a nice touch.

Located on 5,000 acres, this park has plenty to offer. The big draw is the mud, but they also have trails and plenty of open terrain for playing around.
Muddy Bottoms ATV & Recreation Park is only open for dates that are listed on their calendar. They are usually open only for one long weekend event a month during the summer season. Very infrequently they may have an ‘Open Ride’ weekend when there is no event. Entry fees are $15 – $25 less on ‘Open Ride’ weekends and camping is waaay cheaper.
This is one of the best and largest ATV parks in Louisiana. They host several large events throughout the year including: Let Freedom Ride, Mudstock and Mudapalooza.
On event weekends, they usually have a concert, fireworks and some friendly competition like corn hole with cash prizes. And then some more aggressive competition like bounty holes with cash prizes up to $1,500.
This park has everything you need for a fun relaxing weekend – lots of amenities including a pro shop, eating pavilion, amphitheater and sprinkler park for the kids big and small.
Your entry fee is good for the weekend and includes all events, races, concerts, etc.

Located on 100 acres with 10 miles of trails running through the forest, this large campground makes for a fun get away. There is also a mud bog for getting down and dirty.
They host a motorcycle rally, Redneck Cajun Olympix, RV shows and other fun events throughout the year when rates may be slightly higher and camping availability limited. This may not be one of the biggest ATV parks in Louisiana, but it’s not short on fun!
This is a large family friendly campground perfect for families with younger children. There’s a fishing pond as well as a swimming pool to keep the kiddos busy. Plus, the small onsite creek is perfect for playing, swimming and kayaking. There is a playground for younger children as well as volleyball, basketball and a game room for older children.
You’ll find everything you need for a comfortable getaway at this park including a store, bathrooms, lots of showers and a laundromat.

Although not strictly an ATV park, this park has a fun trail for puttering around and having some relaxing family fun.
Trails are open to ATV, UTV, SxS, dual sport, dirt bikes and golf carts. Spark arrestor and a muffler that does not exceed 90dB are required.
This trail system offers a total of 9.2 miles. It features a main trail with 9 shorter one way loops that loop back to the main trail. Trails are numbered and easy to navigate.
There’s plenty of fun to be had at this state park located on the shores of Toledo Bend Reservoir. Activities include hiking, biking, birding, camping, fishing and boating.

One of the largest ATV parks in Louisiana on 2,600 acres with over 40 miles of trails. This ATV park is all about the mud, so be prepared to get dirty. They have oval and drag mud racing as well as 5 mud ponds.
During the busy season, there is an onsite concession stand. Campground has full hookups and a bath house. A vehicle wash station is also available.
Open year round with winter being their busiest season. A few times a year, this ATV park hosts concerts and special events.
They offer a special $5 discount per bike on the 3rd consecutive day of riding.
The cabins are rustic cabins with just the bare essentials. Cabins have AC and the bunk beds come outfitted with sheets and pillow cases, but you need to bring everything else. You’ll need to bring chairs, blankets, towels, soap and a cook stove.

One of the best parts of this ATV park is that it’s located on a small swimming lake with a small pebble/sand beach perfect for playing. Kid’s will love the Tarzan Boat, a double decker swim float with a slide, trampolines and a swing rope.
Located on 500 acres with over 15 miles of trails. There’s also a sand drag strip for racing, some mud bogs and deep water riding.
The usual entry fee is $20 for rider + bike, but this park does host 1-2 larger events per month where the rates may be higher. These events may include small musical acts, fireworks and sometimes friendly competitions. All very family friendly!
This park is owned and operated by a Christian family with several members of the family involved in day to day operations. They promote a family friendly atmosphere where safety is key.
If you decide to weekend camp, you can arrive after 3pm on Friday and get in a good day of riding before the weekend crowds arrive. However, a Friday arrival does require advance reservations, so plan ahead. Campgrounds have bathrooms and showers available.
The onsite Zona Grill serves up casual food like burgers, dogs, chicken tenders, nachos, snowballs and french fries.
