This park has trails for all types of vehicles: ATVs, UTVs, SxS, full size trucks, Jeeps and motorcycles.
This park is one of the largest ATV parks in West Virginia on 10,000 acres with over a 100 miles of trails. The staging area/trailhead is 70 acres on it’s own – so there’s plenty of room for maneuvering.
Trails rank from family friendly to super aggressive. If you’re looking for a challenge, check out the Amazon Trail – it’s rated “winch recommended, enter at your own risk”. Motorcycle riders will enjoy the one way single tracks open to bikes only.

400 acres of trails for family friendly off roading with trails from mild to wild.
This park is only open for events which are very limited – typically only two a year on Memorial Day weekend and Labor Day weekend. They also sometimes offer an Advanced Wheeling & Recovery Techniques class for people looking to take their skills up a notch and/or become a trail guide.
They offer a variety of riding conditions including scenic trails, an obstacle courses, mud holes, rocks and aggressive buggy only obstacles.
As part of their events, they sometimes offer a ‘JumpStart Class’ which is a fun way to learn about off roading. You can work on your off roading skills and learn how to build out your ride. These classes are no extra charge and are included in the price of admission.
The Chaos folks also run a body shop where they do all manner of cosmetic/mechanical repairs, but they revel in doing build outs.

All off roading vehicles are welcome at this park including ATVs, SxS, full size trucks/Jeeps and bikes.
1,300 acres with miles of trails for all skill levels. Separate trails are available for trucks and Jeeps.
There are mud bogs, rugged terrain, ponds, an ATV/UTV hill climb, a rock bouncer trail with climbs and a dirt track. There is even some hiking available for stretching the legs when you you need a break from the trails.
Even if you’re just a spectator, expect to pay the entrance fee.
On event weekends, they have food vendors, but on regular weekends there is no food available.

General Info:
Open to ATV, UTV and MX bikes.
This county owned and run ATV park has a day use area, campground and ATV trails. The county has set aside 600 acres for recreational motorized use.
Both drivers and passengers are required to to have a trail permit to access the ATV trails. Permit decals must be displayed on users helmet while on trails.
The ATV trails are adjacent to the campground – you can ride from your campsite right onto the trails.
There are 25 miles of trails from easy to advanced. Most of the trails are in the easy/moderate category, but there are a couple shorter more challenging trails. There is also a small section off the main trail for mudding.
One of the trails takes you up to a high ridge line to a rest area with sweeping views of the area.
This park has a pretty good sized campground with 87 campsites and an onsite host. 16 of the sites have full hook ups, 64 have electric/water and 7 are primitive. There are several bathhouses with hot showers available as well as a laundromat. There are discounted weekly, monthly and seasonal rates available.
The ATV Campground is open April 1 – October 31. There is another campground, Lakeside Campground, that are open year round. Lakeside Campground is not adjacent to the ATV riding area. There are only 5 lakeside campsites and they’re rented on a first come, first serve basis.
In addition to the offroading trails there are also 50 miles of trails set aside for non-motorized recreation for hikers, bikers and horseback rider.
Other activities at this park include bird watching, fishing, boating, disk golf and archery on the 3D range. If you travel with furry friends there is a dog park as well.
