Polaris Sportsman Touring 2 Up ATVs
The Sportsman is Polaris’ signature ATV model, it comes in both single rider and 2 Up ATV models designed to carry a passenger. Polaris promises easy handling, a smooth comfortable ride and reliable performance.
Polaris touts itself as having the fastest-engaging all-wheel drive for better handling and a safer ride. These touring models also have excellent ground clearance with 11 or more inches of clearance, this allows you to take on even the toughest trails and easily maneuver over obstacles.
Polaris Sportsman Touring 570

The 570 Touring ATV comes factory standard with “Lock & Ride” dry storage – 6 gallons in the front and 2 gallons in the rear. A third headlight mounted on the steering column increases visibility.
A front mount plate also makes it easy to add/change accessories like plows and winches.
The Sportsman Touring 570 allows you to comfortably carry a passenger with an integrated passenger seat and passenger hand holds. This 2 Up ATV makes it easy to share the fun.

The Touring 850 2 seater ATV comes standard with an Engine Braking System (EBS) with “Active Descent Control” (ADC) . The ADC system provides braking to all four wheels when descending a hill at 15 mph or less.
When riding down steep terrain, the ADC is activated by flipping a switch allowing for a safe controlled descent. (the 570 does not come with ADC)

Can Am is the industry leader when it comes to 2 up ATVs – they have more 2 Seater 4 wheelers than any other manufacturers. Their 2 seater ATV lineup includes a total of ten passenger seat ATVs from smaller 450s all the way up to 1000s.
Can Am classifies their models into 3 main categories: “performance”, “trail” or “work”. The trail and performance models are both ideal for trail riding.
The performance and trail models typically come with bigger engines for powering up hills and slogging through tough conditions. They also come standard with heavy duty bumpers and winches.

For 2023, Arctic Cat is no longer offering the Alterra TRV 700 – it’s no longer listed on their website. In it’s place, Arctic Cat introduced the new 2 Up Alterra 600 TRV in their 2023 lineup.
The Alterra 600 TRV 2 seater ATV comes factory standard with steel front and rear racks. It’s also outfitted with a front bumper, front tow hooks and 2″ rear receiver hitch.
This Artic Cat is a class leader with 10″ front and rear travel. More suspension travel = a smoother ride.
Most other 2 person ATVs featured here have front travel in the 8.2″ – 9.2″ range, so the Alterra 600 TRV is clear winner when it comes to front travel. However, the other competitor models are more competitive when it comes to rear travel with ranges from 9.5″ – 10.25″.
