This is a top notch ATV. Made for larger kids, this is probably the last stop before they make the jump to a traditional kids gas model ATV.
More like an actual vehicle than a toy. You’ll want your little riders to have a helmet and goggles.
Handlebar controls get young riders ready for a gas ATV.
But, with the handlebar throttle controls, some children may need extra time to learn how to ride this bike if they’re upgrading from a more simple ride.
No plastic tires. This ATV has 12″ air filled rubber tires, rear suspension and disc breaks.
Sturdy ATV that will last for a couple kids or make a great hand me down.
The manufacturer recommends this vehicle for children 8 and older, but some parents may disagree. An 8 year old is probably going to outgrow this bike quickly.
For children that are taller and/or heavier, this kids electric ATV may simply be too small despite the age designation.
The max weight is 120 lbs, but this is going to wear the battery down faster.
Some parents are comfortable letting younger kids ride this model, but every parent has to use their own best judgement. But, a six or seven year old will get a lot more use out of this ride.
Needs to charge for at least 12 hours before it’s first ride.
No parental controls, so no speed restrictor.

TomRide specializes in advanced electric ATVs for children and adults. They currently offer four high performance electric ATVs: TR240 (ages 6+), TR290 (ages 10+), TR300 (ages 10+) and TR400 (ages 13+).
There are two parental controls to limit the speed setting of the ATV. There is a key that can set the speed to 4 mph, 12 mph or 30 mph. Or, parents can use a safety cable located under the seat to permanently set the speed at 4 mph regardless of key setting (a back door safety feature in case the kids are mischievous and steal the key).
TomRide’s Power Handle feature increases the ATVs torque to provide maximum power for hill climbing and riding over obstacles. Extra torque is also ideal for popping wheelies if your child is a daredevil (but maybe don’t tell them that).
A roll over bar and protective footplate provide extra riding safety. For additional safety, the electric gear can only shift when the vehicle is at a complete stop. The hydraulic braking system ensures soft easy braking in all conditions.
Front and rear LED lights, 8″ Kenda off road tires and a rear rack round out this exciting trail rider. 1000W brushless motor requires minimal maintenance for years of fun.

Designed with young riders in mind. Big foot pedal controls the speed while toggle switches on the dashboard allow the rider to switch from low to high speed or easily reverse.
Most tires on these smaller ATVs are all plastic, but this ATV has tires that have a strip of rubber running along the center of the tire. This provides a bit more traction on uneven of slippery surfaces.
Although the manufacturer states that this vehicle can accommodate riders up to 7 years old, this may be a bit on the optimistic side. Maybe if they’re on the petite side.
Ideally, this ATV is best for 3 – 5 year old riders.
Plus, compared to other kids electric ATV models, this one is fairly slow. Older kids probably won’t get the same enjoyment that a younger child would.
However, this lower speed with built in slow acceleration make it a good fit for parents with young kids.
Built in horn and faux acceleration sound buttons on the dashboard will entertain young riders.
Comes already programmed with serval songs and stories or a USB port to play your own music. Not bluetooth compatible.
This is one of the slowest kids electric ATVs in our round up. This could be a positive or a negative depending on your needs.

In low speed, only one back tire spins, in high gear, both tires are engaged.
Vehicle will need to charge for 18 hours prior to first use.
According to the seller, the battery has 30-35 minutes of run time, which is a bit less than other kid’s electric ATVs.
No working lights or speakers, but with the faster speed, your little one probably won’t even miss them.
